Updated Course for ASP.NET Core 2.0

Thursday, January 4, 2018

Catching up on some Pluralsight announcements...

My ASP.NET Core Fundamentals Course has been re-recorded for ASP.NET Core 2.0.

Some pieces have changed dramatically. For example, I give only a brief overview of the ASP.NET Identity framework and spend more time on integrating with an OpenID Connect provider. New topics include how to use the Razor pages feature in v2. Enjoy!

Yes, I've just run through your update - it was brilliant - along with Shaun's updated one (only if he used Aurelia rather than Angular) and Building a RESTful API with ASP.NET Core Kevin Dockx, then complete with ASP.NET Core 2 Authentication Playbook from Chris Klug as a perfect final icing on the cake, and you will have the perfect ASP.NET core2 primer there is.. a brilliant set of training.... I've finally given up WPF/XAML!!! maybe

Hi Scott, just a friendly piece of advice. If you want to share your code examples, there's always Hyper IDE, which allows you to link directly to specific code files on your server, allowing your users to browse the code in its full version, online (securely). Read more about it here - https://gaiasoul.com/2018/01/07/sharing-tutorial-code-with-the-world/
