Test First Development Course Online

Monday, January 3, 2011

David Starr and I recorded a test first development course for Pluralsight's On-Demand! library (subscription required). This is the first course in a series, and we designed the course for someone who is new to the landscape.

I sincerely hope the course helps viewers find a path towards success in software development.

Outline

I. Introduction to Test-First Development

II. Writing Unit Tests (Part I)

III. Writing Unit Tests (Part II)

IV. Introduction to Refactoring

V. Driving Design with Unit Tests

I was excited to view this so I activated my one month trial via MSDN. When I went to download the videos, though, it refused to allow me, saying they were for subscribers of higher levels (Professional etc.) only.

@Rik: Yes, sorry, I believe you can only stream the videos with the free activation. I will forward your feedback.

No problem Scott, I didn't look hard enough to see that they could be streamed. It's less convenient but I don't think I can complain for free!

Looking forward to having a watch.
