About Me

In 13 years of software development, I've worked on everything from 8 bit embedded devices to video games. I've shipped commercial web applications and built web services to connect COM+ and J2EE components. I enjoy designing, architecting, and writing code.

I’ve co-authored a few .NET books, and have articles published in the best technical magazines in the industry. I’m an ASP.NET MVP for Microsoft, and speak at industry conferences, code camps, and regional user groups. For more details on these areas, see the links in this category.

When away from the computer I like to play softball and golf. I like to create and perform music – although this regularly involves computers these days, too. I like to do 1,001 different things – and I’ll never have time to do them all. As Heinlein said – specialization is for insects.

If you are looking for consulting help, a speaker for your user group, or a writer for a white paper, feel free to contact me using the link on this page.

Someone I know hates these pictures, but I’m putting them online anyway.
