Look For Me In January

I got word this week from Tony Elias, development editor for MSDN Magazine, that I'll be in the January issue with my article “Living The Static Life”. The article will cover all the deep, dark secrets you ever wanted to know about shared and static members of a class. Visual Basic.NET and C# code included!

Sweet! I'm looking forward to this article... any chance you can provide a "sneak peak?" :-)

Good deal man, can't wait to read the article. So are there a lot of deep dark secrets? It's definitely a topic people get pretty nuts about in the newsgroups...

There are some pretty interesting things I found in doing experiments, and looking at ILDASM and reflector. Little tricks the compiler does on your behalf, little known behaviors of static constructors, and what changes in .NET 2.0. It's interesting! :)
